7 October 2026 | Ambassador Laura Aghilarre meets the Italian community at Casa Italia Iași

We are pleased to share the Italian Embassy in Bucharest’s post about the gathering held at Casa Italia Iași, where Her Excellency Ambassador Laura Aghilarre met members of the local Italian community.

An informal and well-attended gathering brought together Italian nationals, entrepreneurs, teachers and students whose daily commitment strengthens the ties between Italy and Romania and contributes to Sistema Italia.

We warmly thank Her Excellency for wishing to get to know us and for dedicating her time to our community. This gesture of care and support gives us confidence and encourages us to continue our work.

Our thanks also go to our association’s members, everyone who helped organise the gathering, and all those who attended, making it a meaningful occasion for connection and dialogue.

Our goal is to build a welcoming, united and supportive community, creating bonds and bringing Italians and Romanians together through everyone’s contribution. This is the spirit of our Charter of Values: participation, respect and mutual support, so that belonging to Casa Italia means feeling less alone and, above all, ensuring that others are not left alone.

Together, we will continue to put these principles into practice with humility and goodwill.
